After taking the patient’s full medical history, the nurse will conduct a series of physical examinations and enter all vital statistics into our online system. Healthforce will then analyse the data and help the nurse assess the patient's needs easily and accurately. The nurse can choose to conclude the patient consultation, upload wellness assessments to the Vitality Wellness Network or to refer to a Healthforce doctor via the system’s telemedicine feature.
If required, the nurse will set up a video consultation between the doctor and the patient. While consulting with the patient, the doctor will have access to all their recorded vitals for easy reference. If any further physical examinations are needed, the nurse will be on hand to collaborate with the doctor, using Healthforce-provided digital devices that are conveniently integrated into the system.
Once the doctor has made the diagnosis and prescribed the best medical treatment, all details will be entered into the Healthforce system. The nurse will be there to discuss the doctor's diagnosis and answer any questions. Nurses can also print the patient's prescription, medical certificates, referral letters and medical aid claims, as well as schedule any follow-up appointments. Patients simply need to walk over to the dispensary and collect their medication.
